Our Story

Made by hand since 1999
Issi came to the United States from Israel in 1985. Back home, he trained at the Tadmor culinary school, and that training still shows in how he cooks.
In 1999, he opened Issi’s Place in the Waterstone Medical Building. It was a small space, and the neighborhood filled it fast. By 2001 we had outgrown it and moved to our current spot on Cedar Road, where we’ve been ever since.
We’re a family-owned, Chalav Yisrael dairy restaurant under Cleveland Kosher supervision, and a lot of our regulars have been coming since the beginning. Today the pizza, pasta, and wraps are still made by hand, and Issi is still in the kitchen. Come in, grab a table, and we’ll take care of you.

Under Rabbinical Supervision
Issi’s Place is certified by Cleveland Kosher. Dairy (Chalav Yisrael)
